Concentrate to the New Job

It has been almost two weeks since I started the new job. Comfortable? No! Do you like the job? Yeah...kinda...Are they friendly? Yeah, but not like CNJA guys.

What I don't like about the new job is that the office isn't comfortable. It is dirty and crappy. Basically, the office is my boss's space. He designed and decorated. For example, two bicycles are displayed on the ceiling. I have to say that the office shouldn't his own place. He has to give employees an appropriate working environment. I think he doesn't give it to us.

The project that I am working on is interesting. It is a public administration building in the city of central Washington State. I am designing a customer service reception desk. I design and my boss checks and suggests changes.

They work very hard. No music in the office. It is very quiet. Nobody is chatting. I become bored and tired during the work, but I don't know how to relax by myself in this office. When I was in CNJA, I could just go to Dan's desk and talk a little bit, let's say 5 min. but at current job, I can't do that and I don't have a person who I can talk to.

Over all, It is almost equal. I think there are positive things and negative things. I hope this negative things are fixed as time is passing.

There's another old American saying.., "The grass is not always greener on the other side of the mountain", meaning that just because things might "look" or appear to be better someplace else, it may not always be the case. When you weigh all the pros and cons (positives & negatives), maybe you will understand more why I just stay here in dreadful Spokane. Sure, I could move to Seattle, but the rents are twice as high, traffic is terrible, I think the people are over-all pretty unfriendly compared to other places, like even Spokane for instance, or Portland Oregon..., and even though I hate Spokane (small minded small town cultural toilet), when I weigh all the (my) pros and cons, I choose to stay here. Its unfortunate someone I cared a great deal for moved to Seattle for the greener pasture.., but oh well. Life goes on and you just make the best of an awkward situation.., hopefully as time goes on you will adjust, you cant expect others to always adjust for you...
