Camping in the rain

Last weekend I and Colin went to camping again. We knew that it would rain all day on Saturday, but we decided to go. We thought this would be a tough camp, but became our good experience.
We reached the campsite around 8:30 pm that was later than we wanted to reach. I cooked Okonomiyaki which was a Japanese style pancake for dinner, but it wasn't taste good...ahh.. There were another guy and his dog camping besides us. We invite them to our dinner and campfire. When we finished the diner, it had already been dark and chilly. It wasn't rain yet, but we needed to prepare for the rain.
Saturday was raining all day. It wasn't so hard, but continuously raining. We moved the tent to the better campsite in the morning, but the new location we put the tent was lower level of the ground than around area, so rain was almost gotten into the tent. I was little bit nervous, and not fun at the time. I wanted to go back to Seattle, but Colin wanted to stay. Colin pursued me to stay campsite. We moved the ten to the flat and higher level of the ground which was covered by tree, so the rain wasn't falling so much at the place. We did campfire and kept warm. Colin cooked chicken rice with many mushrooms for dinner. It was delicious. Good and hot food made me happy.

This camping was very hard for me because I don't like rain day and We couldn't enjoy hiking, sunbathing and so on. However, it will be happen that we have to camping in the raining day sometime, so this is an good opportunity for us to experience this. Actually, we learned many thing from this camp such as the location of the tent and how to keep warm our body and feeling in the raining day. The next camp will be much easier and fun.
